June is Men’s Health Month! Did you know that men and women
have different health outcomes? On average, Hispanic men live 5 years less than
Hispanic women. Men are also more likely than women to have heart disease,
liver disease, and to commit suicide. Men are also less likely than women to
see a doctor regularly or to have health insurance. For all of these reasons,
it is important to talk about men’s health and help make sure that men take
care of their health.
