Health Disparities: Hispanics and Non-Hispanic Whites


There are health disparities between Hispanics and Non-Hispanic Whites. One example is high blood pressure. Although both groups have similar rates of high blood pressure, 14% more Hispanics have high blood pressure that is poorly controlled. High blood pressure can put you at a greater risk for heart disease or stroke, so it is important to learn if you have high blood pressure and what you can do about it.
